Has anyone managed to get data into DCE from a Acti 9 Smartlink SI D with PowerTags attached?
I've made a setup with 1 Acti 9 Smartlink SI D and 4 PowerTags (1541) to monitor power usage on my chillers and dry cooler.
I started out requesting the Acti 9 Smartlink Modbus DDF file since it was supported in DCE but it didn't work. Obviously my mistake since it's a different product than the Acti Smartlink SI D 😀
After that I requested a DDF file for the exact model that I have but neerly a month went by without anything and it's driving me nuts!
So does anyone have experience with a similar setup and is willing to share with me (and everybody else) how they got it to work?`
Regards
John

Just an update on this topic.
The DDF for Acti 9 Smartlink SI D is out now but not working (for me). I've reported the issue on a device request so lets hope someone can fix it 😀
In the post above here I asked for another way to add a Modbus TCP device to DCE than with a DDF but I don't think thats possible at all! As i see it there is no generic Modbus TCP function/DDF where you can manualy add a Modbus register address. So I proberly just have to be a bit more patient 😀

Hi James
As far as I know the right thing to do is to request the file in "Device Support". Search for the device, click it and click "I want it too".
I could also share it here 😀 schneider_acti9_smartlinksid (1).zip
I ended up taking part in the development and test of the DDF and know that there are still a few unsolved issues. Total Reactive Power, Total Apparent Power and AC Frequency are zero. The modbus registers Mounting Position (31015), Circuit Diagnostic (31016) and Breaker Rating (31017) cannot be read. These issues are no differen when I poll the registers with a modbus polling software so it might be issues with the current firmware or the documentation (wrong registers). I've been trying to find a modbus/device specialist at Schneider Electric for the last couple of months to get some help with these issues but with no luck. Still trying 😀
This is a screenshot from DCE of the working sensors on the Acti 9 Smartlink SI D.
Hope you find it usefull 😀
