About Rack PDU mapping to ITA for device association

Hi team , We know our APC rack PDU can mapping to ITA for peak KW association. Here are two questions need your advice .

1. If we use AP7XXX series that only have Amp value , does it work for ITA peak value monitor ?

2. If we use 4 rPDU mirror port function to group it , in only one IP address situation , does it work mapping to ITA for device association for these 4 rPDU ?

Your input would be appreciated .

Hi Billy,

1) If the device/rack pdu can only report amp values, then the amp measurements expected to be displayed in ITA. Peak and Average values are power (watt) related data.

2) In ITA we cannot associate same item multiple times - so your 'grouped r-pdu' may show-up as one device (with one IP address) and may only be associated once. And concerning the measured data, it may depend on how the data being reported to ITA (from DCE). But in general the functionality of the daisy chained rack pdus may not be supported in ITA.

Kind regards,

Jef
