we are looking to purchase a couple of new UPS's.

I would like to know if i can add the above model in to StruxureWare DCE and set up notifications and review the health of the UPS?

adding the device to the portal would be beneficial as well but not a necessity

Hi Martin,

Absolutely. Any APC UPS that has a network management card should work in StruxureWare DCE. Notifications work with this unit as they do with any other and you can see the age of the UPS, battery, and if self tests fail alonge with input, output, and load information. Although I don't have a 3000 handy, here's an example of what yuo can see with the SRT 5000:
