I have a AP8930 PDU which the GUI doesn't load. I configured it serially and can telnet into the device but the webpage won't load. I have tried http/https and it fails each time.
aos: v6.1.3
RPDU 2g: v6.1.0
I believe this is the same issue on the 7930 with the 3.7.4/3.9.0 upgrade as well.
Any ideas?

Hi John,
I am not aware of any specific issues on the AP7930 beyond when using HTTPS and browsers blocking certain ciphers or TLS versions.
On AP8930, same possibility with protocols and ciphers, especially since AOS 6.1.3/rpdu2g 6.1.0 is older. But, we also had this issue which was fixed in a newer firmware -> http://www.schneider-electric.us/en/faqs/FA235265 (This issue was never present on AP7XXX series).

I have upgraded it to application version 6.3.3 and still am not able to access the GUI.

Can you extract the log files via FTP to review? Could it be that someone changed HTTP or HTTPS port? There is a guide on downloading log files here http://www.schneider-electric.us/en/faqs/FA156131 which you can refer to maybe using the FTP instructions since web download won't be available if you can't log in. Most important is event.txt and config.ini to look at.

I am going to re-vitalize this thread. I am now having this issue with the ACRC301s and the Symmetra PX100's.
Looking to adjust the MTU to 1300 to see if that fixes the issue. I believe a firmware update fixed the PDU's but now that issue has propagated to other devices with the latest firmware...
Nobody changed the HTTP or HTTPS ports, they are default and brand new devices...

Hi John - what are the AOS versions on the ACRC301s and Symmetra PX? We still don't provide capability to change the MTU on the devices themselves (those that you mentioned anyway) but I am also not aware of this being a problem any longer in our firmware.

Hi John - no problem.
Try this for your PX40 - ftp://restrict:Kop$74!@ftp.apcc.com/restricted/hardware/nmcard/firmware/sy3p/650/apc_hw05_aos650_sy3... - this is our newest release and should have the issue I mentioned last time fixed. This release also gives Modbus via the NMC if you happened to need it. Instructions on upgrading if you need it -> http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156047
For your ACRC unit, you already have the latest firmware available. I will check when their next release is due. Please allow me until next week on that due to the holiday weekend here in the US.

No problem. Depending on what I find out for timing, are you able to try beta firmware in your environment? I know some folks don't allow it but others are OK to try it. (We always put the beta through some sanity tests on our side but there is always the slim chance and disclaimer you could run into a bug while it is technically still "beta" stage.)

Hi John - sorry for the delay. You can definitely push the AOS 6.5.0 firmware to your PX40 now. I am still following up on availability and timing of beta or a final version for your ACRC. I sent a follow up to my ACRC request yesterday to see what we can get you and when.

Angela, I am going to ping you again. Another friendly reminder!
Also, because I paid a bunch of money for these devices and I want to be able to login to the web GUI and get alarms in DCE...

Hi John - I totally understand and I wish I could do something myself instead of waiting for firmware. I will follow up again right now for acrc2g firmware availability - beta at least.
Can I ask, was the issue resolved on your PX40 and also your PDU? I just want to make sure the problem you encountered was seemingly this: http://www.schneider-electric.us/en/faqs/FA235265 and the firmware upgrades are indeed solving it for you.

Yes, I just upgraded the UPS and the issue was resolved. So was the DDF issue within DCE where it reported the Device Status may be inaccurate because of an attempt to transfer a device definition file...
If you think it will help, I can elevate the request through my Schneider Rep.

Hi John - just wanted to check to make sure the firmware was truly helping and we diagnosed it properly. I did get some word back yesterday. We can provide a beta for acrc2g in the first week of October to you. (They had found an issue they fixed and are just re-testing it for the next week). So, if it is OK with you, my plan was to provide the beta firmware to you via the email address you signed up on the forum with unless you specify otherwise.
Before loading the firmware too, I just wanted to check to see if your cooling units are in a group configuration because if they are, we usually like to have groups all on the same firmware rev to avoid problems and would recommend we upgrade those that may be in the same group.

They are in a group however I can pull one off the group just in case something happens.
I will look for your email and then anxiously await the official release!
Regards,
J
