Hi Gianluca,

These APC PDUs function the same way as an NMC2. Holding the reset button for 20 seconds when the NMC's status LED is pulsing green. As soon as this LED changes to amber or orange, release the reset button.

This is ideal if you can no longer do a terminal emulation session (via serial) and issue a format command or before doing a recovery via bootmonitor as advised by Cees.

I hope this helps.

Cheers!

Hi Gianluca,

Check this link : http://www.apc.com/nl/en/faqs/index?page=content&id=FA293874

it describes recovery via the bootmonitor

Good luck,

Cees
