The RPDU's have firmware v6.5.2 available however DCE doesn't have it available. When I attempt to import the new firmware to DCE, it is looking for the ZIP file and not the EXE. How do I import the 6.5.2 firmware?

Hi Richard,
The only way to install device firmware into DCE is to import the firmware catalog. You can not install the individual firmware files or the executable. The catalog can be found on www.apc.com on the downloads page. The issue here is the catalog is not updated as quickly as the individual files are updated.
The catalog available on the downloads page has not been updated in a few months so any new firmware will not be included. I will pass this issue on to engineering and ask that they get the catalog updated (I had already spoken to someone who stated they're working on it) but until such time as it is updated, you'll have to update the firmware using the firmware executable outside of DCE.
Thanks,
Steve

Running this update from the Utility takes forever ... I'm still in the process of updating. Using DCE is a snap compared to this.
Regardless, I appreciate the answer!

Sorry 'bout that. I totally understand and we have a request in the system to update the catalog. It should be done soon if you want to wait but I don't have an ETA.
