3 phase rack PDUs - power configuration issue

I'm trying to model a room in Europe, is 230V , 50Hz per phase.

The configuration I have is that the cabinet PDUs receive a 3 phase 16A supply. The PDU outputs are 3 banks of sockets, one back of L1 sockets, one bank of L2 and one bank of L3.

The configuration in DCO is OK up until I try and connect a server to the rack PDUs. When I do this, the software wants to connect across the phases (as is used in 110V systems), so I can only pick L1-L2, L2-L3 or L3-L1, not L1, L2 or L3 as is the actual configuration.

I've tried all combinations of Voltage output settings on the PDU, but nothing I can do will allow me to connect to a single phase. Am I using the wrong gnome?

I amusing the "Smart PDU - 3 Phase 208-240V 30A" with the output voltage set to "230v, 50Hz, Single", with the PDU being fed from a "16A 3P IEC309" breaker module.

Any help on how ths shoudl be configured, or what gnomes I should be using would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

From reading your configuration it seems like the problem most likely is located in the floor PDU output voltages which must be set to the right voltages as well (400,50hz,3p).

If that is not the case it would be nice to see a screenshot from the power dependency view with the linking turned on and the server selected in order to the see the power path from server to UPS.

Besides that view also the power properties of the PDU, rack mount PDU and server would be information needed.

However please let me know because maybe a screensharing session will be an easier way going forward?!?

Hi, Thank you that seems to have worked. I had the PDUs set for 415V and that for some reason only allows servers to be connected between the phases. Thanks, Steve
