Data Center Expert 7.9.2 released

The Data Center Expert 7.9.2 release updates the server operating system to Rocky Linux 8.6.

It is required that you contact support to verify you have a valid software support contract before you receive the Data Center Expert 7.9.2 upgrade file.

You must have a valid software support contract to receive the Data Center Expert 7.9.2 upgrade. If you do not have a valid software support contract, then you will need to purchase one to receive the upgrade.

In this release:

Enhancements

• The DCE server appliance supports UEFI boot required by new Dell server appliances.
• The Linux restore script was updated to use 64-bit packages.
• Web server connection debug logging was optimized.
• Improved serialization of certificates between clients and the DCE server.

Issues fixed

• USB restore for DCE server appliances now works as expected.
• Password complexity rules for the apcsetup account were updated to match other accounts.
