http://localhost/schema - web services
Hi guys,
I have just installed the trial version of Geo SCADA in order to test something.
However, I am blocked unfortunately on a basic stuff...
With a web explorer, http://localhost/schema cannot be open, whatever the https://localhost/schema or localhost:80/schema or localhost:443/schema, etc.
WebX is also not available.
XML/SOAP (http://localhost/webservices/scx) does not work too, I got the following answer : "Error loading [http://localhost/webservices/scx]: org.apache.xmlbeans.XmlException: org.apache.xmlbeans.XmlException: error: Premature end of file".
Therefore, I suppose that I have to do something with the IIS of windows. But I am not sure.
Is there somebody able to advice ?
Thanks by advance,
It would be much appreciated.
Cheers,

The error message refers to Apache which suggests there is an Apache web server on port 80 not the Geo SCADA web server. You will need to shutdown this web server or change the port numbers so they don't clash.
The General \ Information page of the server status tool will show the web server status / port. The troubleshooting guide has more advice, see Database Web Server Connection Problems.

Hi @AndrewScott,
Thank you for the reply. Sorry for my poor knowledge on this topic, I am not used to with the web server.
The issue has been moved forward.
Now, the http://localhost/schema is available on another port. WebX works too. XML/SOAP (http://localhost/webservices/scx) looks also available, however I got the answer below when SOAP UI is used:
"WSDLException (at /Page): faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Expected element '{http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/}definitions'."
I understand that the WSDL used is invalid. Do you have any idea to become it valid?

Which WDSL definition file are you using when you get the error?
I'm able to add all three of the WDSL files that ship with Geo SCADA to SoapUI 5.6 without any errors.

Good to heard. Thank you.
That is the right question. I am not able to find or locate WSDL definition file in order to check.
Where should I find this file normally? have I missed something during the trial version setup ?

In SoapUI I simply did "File \ New SOAP Project" and set the initial WSDL file to one of the files in the "C:\Program Files\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA\WWW\Schemas" folder.

Yeah! the WSDL definition file is working by browsing "C:\Program Files\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA\WWW\Schemas".
However, when I browse the following http://localhost:[port]/webservices/scx, I got WSDLException (at /Page): faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Expected element'{http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/}definitions'.
But http://localhost:[port]/webservices/scx is working on another computer.
Sorry, I am pretty upset... 😅
