Geo SCADA as a data source for AVEVA Reports

Does anyone know of a documentary/manual/white paper which describes how to use AVEVA Reports with Geo SCADA as a data source?

Aveva Reports aka Dream Report has a ClearSCADA / Geo SCADA Driver.

See the attached pdf as an example.

Can you see the driver (you may need to install it specifically)?

I've already configured this basic setup. I probably need advanced information:

Report generation takes a long time, even tens of minutes, how to optimize or diagnose what takes so long time?

One table is limited to 100 000 rows, can be this limit increased?

Web options possibilities – can be configured to open report in new tab?

Perhaps look to see which queries are taking the time - getting 100K rows from server to client?

If you are retrieving long-period historic data, consider using Geo SCADA Historic View tables, where the aggregation is done at the server (e.g. daily averages).

The use of Geo SCADA Historic View tables would be the way, but I don't know how to specify this. ClearSCADA Histrical Values driver uses CDBHistoric table also for Step Table to display 5-minute data.

100k rows is limit for Step Table - Max Number of Rows.

You can also create your own historic views in the database server configuration. If you have more than one database server you have to define them on each database server that the queries might be run on, .

In your query refer to the historic view you want to use instead of the CDBHistoric table.
