Point configuration - Scada message "duplicate alarm source"

Hi everyone,

There is a message "Duplicate Alarm source with ....... " when configure the point.

anyone know about the issue.

Yes... you have a Duplicate Alarm Source.

On more than one of your objects, on the Alarm tab of the configuration, you have the same value for the 'Alarm Source' field.

This is not allowed.

Alarm Source MUST be unique across a ClearSCADA / Geo SCADA Expert database.

If you leave it blank, then it will be the FullName of the object (which is also unique).

I actually haven't tried to enter an Alarm Source for an object which is the FullName of another object... I wouldn't recommend doing this, I can imagine a potential bug here with the detection of it.. I might test just to confirm it's detected correctly.
