HI All,
After upgrading the Geo SCADA version from 2020 to 2022, while trying to access the historian server the below error is displayed.
Also View-x started crashing frequently after the update.
Did anyone face similar issues.

The screenshot shows you're using the Server Configuration Tool to access a system called "Historian Server" and the error message is "Failed to read the registry type from the server.", "Access is denied".
This simply indicates you've not entered valid credentials when logging on to the system or the user doesn't have "system admin" permission on the root group of the database. Only system administrators can change server settings.
For the ViewX crashes, you need to raise this with customer support and send them the ViewX log files and mini-dump files so they can investigate.

It is also found that only 2 out of the already configured passwords(4-users) are working .in whole setup of which
1)Superuser is working fine with all systems(both servers, Engg stn and all Operatos stns )
2)Engineer user not working in any ay of the systems.
Tried changing the password reset(Reset shows successful), but while login shows error
3)Operator user is working in all Operator stations and both Servers
The upgrade was from version Geo SCADA Expert2020 83.7551 to Geo SCADA Expert 85.8390
Is there any way to restore/Reset the User accounts

I don't know why some user accounts would work and other don't beyond the obvious that you're entering the wrong credentials or the account is disabled.
I would suggest raising this issue with customer support for a detailed investigation.
