The complete list of trip sequences for alarm redirections appears in the online help, see Core Reference > Alarm Redirection > Trip Sequences Supported by Redirection Actions.

You can also get a property from another object.

All my points are in different groups but at the same depth. So I get a metadata field from the instance group, for a part of my redirection.

Hi bear with me for silly questions as I am relatively new to this

I am looking to get a site name to appear rather the whole path from the root directory.

I believe you use %O<reference>.<field>%

however I have the outstation radio buried within 3 groups so what reference would be used in this case

What I posted earlier will work, it is like using relative referencing from the location of your alarm point. Hopefully, you have them all at the same depth, if not then you'll just need a redirection to a specific point.

I changed my example to get the Name of the Site if the Points are two group folders deep.

Something like this SiteA.IO.BI.Point

%OParentGroupId.ParentGroupId.ParentGroupId.Name% is equivalent to ...Name

Hi I have got the email forwarding working perfectly now, I don't see anything in documentation that would allow us to also send the data value not only of the alarm point but of the other points we monitor at the site

ie we get an rssi alarm and the value is included with alarm message, how could I also include points like VSWR, Power, Freq Error etc which belong to the site alarm comes from

Hi. A way to do this is to create metadata field which refer to the associated points. You can create Link fields which are configured to refer to point objects. You don't have to add this to every point, they could be added to groups. Then configure them only on groups which are at the same level, and use the ParentGroupId (as above) to navigate to to where the links are defined.
