Hello,
I have a question about Geo Scada Expert 2023, which is the August 2024 version. I used Geo Scada Expert 2021 before and this was the February 2022 version. I think some new features have been added between these two versions and one of them is about Region definition. Previously, I could mark that location on the map according to the location information I assigned to the instance, but this was only in a point form, I was not defining any region, I show it on the map as follows
In the documents I reviewed, definitions can be made in the form of a circle, rectangle or polygon. I could not fully understand how to do this part. I created a new Region and made the following adjustments in it.
I added these to the Map Set.
The Query I used is as follows.
What should I do for the point I shared in the first image and whose location is marked to also represent a region? The marked point will sometimes be in the center of the region and sometimes in other locations. Do I need to define an additional Locaiton value in the Region settings to define this region? Or do I need to make a change on the Query? I am waiting for your help on this matter. Thank you in advance.

See the section in Geo SCADA 2022 Release Notes:
In Mapping Enhancements there is a description of how to add a Region to a map, and how to configure the region outline.
Note that display of regions is restricted to GeoJSON polygon outlines.

I can't see any of your images.
Anyway, a point/object is in a region if it's co-ordinates are within the bounds of the region. All you need to do is enter it's geo location on the configuration form of the object.

This was one of the images I added before. I could display it like this in previous versions, and now I can display it like this when I make the necessary adjustments. However, when I try to do it the way you said, a region is not defined around this point. For this, I added a Region, and entered a radius value of 1000 meters to center this point. Do I need to add something extra to the SQL query?
The query I use for this place is as follows:
SELECT
FULLNAME, GISLOCATION->LATITUDE, GISLOCATION->LONGITUDE, GISLOCATIONSOURCE,
CASE
WHEN GEOPOSITION IN (SELECT CDBPOINTSOURCE.GEOPOSITION FROM CDBPOINTSOURCE WHERE CDBPOINTSOURCE.QUALITY < 192) THEN 255
WHEN GEOPOSITION IN (SELECT CDBPOINTSOURCE.GEOPOSITION FROM CDBPOINTSOURCE WHERE CDBPOINTSOURCE.QUALITY = 192) THEN 0 END AS FOREGROUND,
CASE
WHEN GEOPOSITION IN (SELECT CDBPOINTSOURCE.GEOPOSITION FROM CDBPOINTSOURCE WHERE CDBPOINTSOURCE.QUALITY < 20) THEN 255 END AS BLINK
FROM
CGROUP
WHERE
Station_Type = 1
The configurations in MapSource are like this.

When I add the coordinates of a point, I can see the location on the map as shown in the image. This was also the case in the old versions I used. However, even if I entered the coordinate information as you said, it was not possible to mark this point as a region. For this, I added a new Region. Then, I selected the Circle type for the Region and entered the same coordinates as the point I showed on the map and 1000 as the radius value. I defined this Region I created in the MapSet configuration with Layer and Query. But I could not display any region in this state.
I used the template-instance structure. Here, I tried the configuration separately in the template and in the instance for the Region.
I used an SQL query while showing it as a point on the map. Do I need to update the query to be able to display the Region? The query I currently use is as follows.

I can't see your images. They come through as triangles.
Can you see this one?

I think there is a problem with uploading images on my side. I can see the image you sent. In addition to this topic, I would like to ask something like this. Is it possible to import these regions as a .shp shapefile file in order to view them in GeoScada? Do I have to create a region from within GeoScada for this process?

The format is GeoJSON.
The 2022 release notes explain the process of creating these.

Hello ,I have a question about GeoJSON polygon outlines.Is there any limitations of point count in polygon? I have too many points in Areas. How can I add this area or How can I increase point count ?
This is the error warning I received when i tried to add more then one area .

Yet again the images don't get displayed. I have asked Forum Admins about this. How are you adding them?
There will be a size limitation on the points in the Region - to limit mem use and prevent performance issues.

Hello, I am adding the images by dragging and dropping. What is the size limitation?
How many points can I add to the region?
