"MMC Could not create the swap-in" Error when installing SQL 2008 Express with I/NET 2.42

- SQL 2008 Express 32-bit

Cause
SQL requires certain aspects of windows to be in place before installation. Ensure you have installed all windows updates available before installing SQL 2008 Express 32 bit
Resolution
- Uninstall I/NET and SQL
- Remove SQL items from the windows registry. (See Verify in Windows Registry all items are deleted after uninstall of I/NET Seven and MS SQL)
- Use Windows update to install all available Windows updates
- Re-install SQL
- Re-install I/NET 2.42
