Cause

Requirements to modernize BAS infrastructure by replacing legacy UNC 196 hardware with Sigma x96 components.

Resolution

To successfully upgrade the UNC 196 outstation to a Sigma x96 controller, the following components must be replaced:

1. Comms/CPU Card
2. Power Supply Card

These components are available as a bundled upgrade kit:
➡️ S-x96-UPKIT

Additional Consideration:
If the outstation includes a Maximum Demand Card, it must be replaced with a:
➡️ Digital Input Card (S-UNC-DI)
