Issue

WebPinpoint crashes on "Failed to call piLiveData>GetLiveData(). AccdataServices has an error" on both WebServer and Client PCs.

Cause

The asp_net account does not have permission to access the ILiveData interface. ILivedata is an internal engine that WPinpoint uses for polling points values.  

Resolution

1. In Workstation Preferences on the Web Server, increase the value of WPinPoint Continuous Polling Rate until  from crashes no longer occur. 
2. If this is for a Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 or Windows Vista, make sure the web.config file has been edited.
