Issue
When trying to change a BACnet value unit, the following error message pops up
Product Line
EcoStruxure Building Operation
Environment
EcoStruxure Building Operation
Cause
Using a unit that is not supported by BACnet standard or using a prefix with a unit that doesn't support a prefix in BACnet.
In the following example, we can see the "Airflow Input" has the kPa unit. Now, if the user wants to change the unit to N/M2, without removing the prefix k(103), an error pops up upon saving the settings.
Resolution
Make sure to select a unit that is supported by the BACnet protocol. Supported engineering units in BACnet are listed in BACnet standard, ASHRAE 135 clause 21, refer to BACnet Engineering Units enumerations.
To resolve the issue in the above example, the user needs to omit the prefix before selecting the unit
OR
They need to make sure the selected unit supports that prefix.
