Cause
During server replacement or upgrade, user credentials may be lost if the correct files are not backed up. This can lead to access issues and configuration loss.
Resolution
User names and passwords in Sigma are stored in specific locations within the Sigma/Data directory. To ensure a complete backup, copy the following:
Required Files and Folders:
- Entire contents of the
Userfolder - GenCNF.rec file
- Labels file
These files contain encrypted credential data and configuration references necessary for restoring access post-migration.
