Cause
Not all GSM modems will allow the full functionality of message acceptance in the Remote Alarm Manager.
Resolution
The following GSM modems are known to provide the full message acceptance of the Remote Alarm Manager.
- Siemens TC35i GSM modem terminal. In the Remote Alarm Manager configuration select the C35i driver.
This modem is now being replaced be the Cinterion (Siemens) MC52i GSM/GPRS Dual band modem terminal, which has not been tested, but appears to be a direct replacement with added functionality.

MC52i GSM/GPRS modem terminal data sheet - Multi-Tech MultiModem MTCBA-G-F4-GB/IE modem terminal. In the Remote Alarm Manager configuration select the Brodersen UCM 91/92.
This modem is still available, but seems expensive and difficult to source.
