What authentication method does Sigma ODBC use when connecting to a SQL Server?

Sigma ODBC
Cause
There is a requirement for two Sigma servers to pass data to a dedicated SQL Server. However, authentication issues arise during configuration.
Resolution
Sigma ODBC does not support authentication.
To ensure successful communication between Sigma and SQL Server:
- Use NT AUTHORITY/ANONYMOUS for the SQL Server configuration.
- Do not select Mixed Mode Authentication during SQL Server setup.
- Ensure Windows Authentication Mode is selected, as shown in the screenshot below:
This configuration allows Sigma to connect without requiring explicit authentication credentials.
