Sigma IC3-LON - Unsupported SNVT types.

Issue

When using the IC_LON Plug-in, an error is reported:

Unknown SNVT Type: nn

This indicates that the SNVT (Standard Network Variable Type) is not supported by the IC3-LON controller.

Sigma IC-LON Version 1.E

Cause

The Sigma IC3-LON controller is designed to work with LONMARK Resource Files Version 11. However, not all SNVT types defined in this version are supported by the controller. 

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

1. Verify Supported SNVTs
   Refer to the IC3-LON Release Notes to confirm which SNVT types are supported.

2. Avoid Unsupported SNVTs
   If an unsupported SNVT is required, consider alternative approaches such as:

   • Using a supported SNVT with similar functionality.
   • Reconfiguring the device or network to bypass the unsupported SNVT.
