Cause

Users may need to create custom alarm filters to better manage and monitor specific alarm types or system events within the Sigma Alarm Manager.

Resolution

To add a new system alarm filter in the Sigma Alarm Manager, follow these steps:

1. Open Sigma Alarm Manager.
2. Navigate to the Configure menu.
3. Select System Filters.
   → The list of existing standard filters will be displayed.

   

4. Click Add to create a new filter.
5. Name the new filter appropriately.

   

6. Highlight the newly created filter and click Edit.

   

7. Configure the filter settings as required for your system needs.

   

8. From the Configuration menu, select Controls.
9. Enable the new filter by checking the appropriate box.

   

Restart the Sigma client to apply and view the changes in the Alarm Manager.
