Cause
The site or database contains recurring controllers that require identical property changes. Performing these updates manually for each device is time-consuming and inefficient.
Resolution
Use the AdminTool servlet located in the Tridium core runtime JAR within the apps folder. This tool enables an online global search and replace of property values.
Steps:
- Locate the AdminTool object in the Tridium core runtime JAR.
- Refer to the Niagara Standard Programming Reference (starting on page 6-18) for detailed instructions.
- Configure the search and replace parameters carefully (e.g., names, filters).
