Issue

Cause

Error message "Invalid Object Name" appears when browsing in a Menta file in TAC Vista.

Add it via the System Plug-in results in an error saying "Failed to transfer application file to TAC Vista" 

Resolution

This could have different causes.

• There could be a signal name that is to long (longer than 20 characters).
• The problem can also be that there is an ALARM that have an alarm controller object defined that are using a $ (other than the default $Alr_Cntrl). TAC Vista will try to add the object and you are not allowed to add objects with $ in them.
