Issue

Cause

Applications configured to launch at startup may:

• Increase boot time
• Cause system instability or delays
• Load in an incorrect sequence, affecting performance

Resolution

Windows XP, Vista, 7

1. Click Start → Run
2. Type msconfig and press Enter
3. Go to the Startup tab
4. Uncheck items you want to disable
5. Click Apply → OK
6. Restart your computer

🔹 Windows 8, 8.1, 10, 11

1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager
2. Click the Startup tab
3. Right-click any item and choose Disable
4. Restart your computer for changes to take effect

💡 Tip: Only disable items you recognize. Disabling essential services may affect system functionality.
