Cause
The motion sensor on the secure side of an access control door is not fast enough in sending the request to exit signal to the controller which result in nuisance (forced entry) alarms. How is this prevented in Continuum?
Resolution
The channel tab of the Continuum door editor has a field for this purpose. It is called ForcedEntryDelay. Simply enter the number of seconds. The delay will allow more time for the request to exit signal to be seen by the access controller, avoiding the nuisance forced entry alarm.
