Cause
Information required on Continuum network security.
Resolution
Continuum IPSec implementation secures communications between Continuum controllers and CyberStations.
The following paths are secured:
- CyberStation to CyberStation
- CyberStation to controllers
- Controllers to controllers. Controllers can be configured to allow communications with other controllers that do not support network security such as the CX9900.

Securing the communication path between workstations running CyberStation and the DB server is outside the scope of the Continuum implementation and is left up to the site’s IT department to put in place.
