Cause
Configuration of extended logging.
Resolution
Sample configuration for extended logging.
This example would create enough entries for a 24 hour period.
- Create an Infinity Numeric
- Select the logs tab
- Number of entries (96)
- Type will be LogInstantaneous (Stores the current value of this point at the beginning of every interval)
- Interval will be 15 minutes (15 minutes in a 24 hour period is 96 which is what we set for the Number of entries)
By default the Workstations are setup for 5 minute checks to the controllers to see if there are extended logs to enter into
