Cause
The getting Started book incorrectly specifies that you may connect the com port of the computer to the com port of the NPR 2000 using a standard serial cable.
Resolution
The correct cables are the same cables used to connect to a 77xx01 emutap, the CBL072. Cable Connectivity to I/NET has more information on this cable.
