Using a USB to Parallel converter for the dongle.

Cause
The dongle is not seen when using a USB to Parallel port converter.
Resolution
In spite of investigations into the use of a USB to Parallel port converter, the BAS dongle cannot be successfully read.
It is recommended, that should the BAS 2800+ terminal require replacing, then the new PC is purchased with an additional Parallel port card..
If the PC is acquired from another source, then the appropriate type of Parallel port card should be purchased and fitted.
Using "Google" and searching for Parallel port cards, will provide a large selection.
