Alarm print error "print engine failed to initialize internet explorer"

Hi,

I am trying to use Alarm page print option in Plant SCADA but getting error as "print engine failed to initialize internet explorer"

Following activities done:

1. User is given role having Exec rights

2. Citect ini parameter [Security] BlockExec = 0

Printing any file opens the print pop up to select printer.

Please help if any thing i am missing.

Hi @Khalid2 

It sounds like you have done everything correctly. The only thing I could suggest is to try the Example Project, or another page template type (which template are you using? CSV_Include, SxW or Tab?)

You could also try temporarily disabling UAC in Windows, to see if that makes any difference.

I'd recommend reaching out to Technical Support to help troubleshoot this further.
