ups 1000 RS LIGHTS BLINKING

My UPS DL1000 VNT S/N JB0613004466;
The ON LINE Light (green) and ON Battery light (yellow) are flashing together.
Anyone know whats wrong?

Hello:

Does the UPS output power while this is happening? Is the UPS able to operate on battery?

This sounds like it may be an internal issue within the unit. The good news is, that UPS is in warranty still. I would recommend contacting APC on Monday morning and seeing about getting a replacement. You can call at 800-800-4272 or Email at esupport@apc.com (from 8am-8pm EST Monday-Friday)

I have the same unit, a Back-UPS RS 1000 with the same issue as you. Both the On Line and On Battery lights are flashing and there is no output power. I contacted APC and after some troubleshooting, they are sending a replacement.

yes, online and on battery flashing at the same time indicates an internal fault and should be replaced whether under warranty, APC's Trade UPS program, or through other means.

Did you have to replace your unit and did they cover it under warranty? I have the same problem.

Mine was under warranty. It wasn't very old though.
