uninstall Powerchute Personal Edition 2.1.1 vista

I need to uninstall this s/w. Keeps on popping up a message box when I have already set the notification settings. I have to always click ok. Never had this problem in the previous versions.

Unfortunately, uninstall does not invoke. How can APC release a s/w which cannot be UNISTALLED ??

Can anybody help ? Please.....let me know a way to uninstall the s/w.

What kind of errors are you getting when you uninstall? Can you provide screen shots? I would recommend that you call into tech support for help. There's a way to manually uninstall the software and I'm sure they'll be able to help.

Thanks for the response.I am travelling and will provide the screenshots when I am back from my trip. But the message box appears whenever there is a battery backup overload for even a small moment. It is quite disconcerting to have this message box popping up when you are in the middle of doing something and you have to click the OK button in order to make it go away. When i try to use the Uninstall program from control panel in vista, the install does not invoke. It does look like that the program is not written with the option to be uninstalled. Strange?

InRow, it's the issue when customers install PCPE 2.0 on Vista and can't get it off.

Have you tried performing the Uninstall in Windows Safe Mode? Worked for me.
