Dear Friends,
I have APCSURTD5000.
Is it possible to extract all power from single receptacle?
Can the socket provided can take all the load?
I need to connect only one instrument consuming around 4.3KW nothing else is connected to this APC.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks
Regards
Prasad

In addition to what Techie said, assuming you have/find a UPS that will provide the power you need, the main limitation to be concerned with is the amperage you're trying to pull. Each receptacle is rated at a certain amperage (20 amps, 30 amps, etc) so as long as your equipment does not exceed the rated output of the receptacle, it will work fine. Otherwise you'll trip the breaker on that outlet.

the SURTD5000 UPS output power capacity is 3500 Watts / 5000 VA. So if you plug a device which consumes 4.5 KW of power to any one of the UPS outlets will overload this unit.
