I've got an ES series that I use at a vacation home. I'm here maybe 1 month a visit for 2 visits a year. Longest time between visits is 7 months. The computer will be unplugged during that time. Should I also unplug the UPS power supply, or leave it plugged in for that period?

I would suggest leaving the UPS plugged in but turned off. That way it will maintain it's battery charge.
