Hi,
The UPS will not power on if the battery is disconnected so you should verify both the hot and neutral leads are secure. If the battery is connected properly check to see if the battery has the proper charge. A good battery should have a charge around 13.5v DC. If the charge is low the UPS will not power up.

Hi,
Reset the Back-UPS
1: Disconnect any attached load.
2: Unplug the UPS from the wall socket.
3: Disconnect the UPS' internal battery.
4: Push and hold the "On" button on the UPS for 5 seconds
5: Reconnect internal battery.
6: Plug UPS in to known good power source.
7: Turn UPS on.
If that does not resolve the issue contact local support for assistance.

Hi,
No. Once you hear the beep you release the button and the UPS is reset. The beep should be short since the UPS is unplugged for AC source and the battery is disconnected.
