Hello there. I have a PH8T3 surge protector, s/n 4Z0733P56694, power strip whose internal female contacts that grip the plugs (hot, neutral and ground) that are inserted into half the sockets no longer make contact.
I probably can take it apart and try to reform the contacts to correct the issue. Has anyone had success with trying to do something like this?

Those units have a life time warranty so you should call Technical Support for a replacement. In the U.S. the number is 1-800-890-4272 Support is available Monday - Friday 8 AM - 8 PM Eastern Time.
