apc smart ups 750 lcd - smt750i - fw: ups 06.5

Hi@all,
maybe you could help me...
i just bought the ups of the reference and testing the menu with the manual of the device a complete line is missing at the configuration menu:
lcd should be switcht on / off / stand-by according to the manual, but in reality this line is not available as option.
and in the extended configuration menu another option is missing:
update firmware
i feel frustrated a brand new device and somethig elemental like this missing!
the device was manufactered in the philippines in may 2012

the firmware is embedded into the wizard.

ok,
the apc support sent me an fw upgrade wizzard upgrade...
who has experience with that?
do i need to download the fw from the web ?
