XS/BX/RS 1000G Battery will not charge

I am not sure where the battery percentage was when I plugged it in this morning because I had not installed the software yet but I do know the display was showing three bars. Went out for about 5 hours and I come back and there are only two bars showing and the percentage was at 48%. After another two hours it was at 44%. I ran the self test and it jumped back to 58% then within 40 minutes or so it was back down to 48% and seems to be hovering there. Anybody know what the deal is with this issue? I purchased it yesterday evening.

BTW - What is the model number? The unit and box are XS1000 the sticker with the serial and model number show BX1000G, and when I open the technical window in the software it displays RS1000G.... Confused!

Thank you,

Bill S

I have two of these & one 1500.

The 1000's have a brain fart from time to time. You need to:

turn it off
unplug the power cord
remove the battery
push the power on button for a few seconds
let it sit for a couple of minutes
install the battery
plug it back in to ac power
