Popi,
Have you tried disconnecting/reconnecting the battery, and then letting it charge w/ no load attached?

That is exactly what I did last night. It was on charge for 12 hours without any load. After reconnecting the load, there was no change, that is,
there was no bars an the indicator. Next, I pulled the wall mains and then the ON BATT mode did a self-test on the battery indicator read 4 bars.
After plugging in the mains, the LCD retured to the ON LINE mode with 4 bars on the battery indicator. I thought that the reset had solved the problem.
Ten minutes later, I opened the LCD with the ON LINE mode and we are back to the battery indicator when no bars, and no errors or alarms.
This unit was purchased two days and the quality test receipts shows the machine was tested an Jan, 2008. That means this battery has been
in the warehouse six months. I question if this battery was lost part of its full capacity because the load is very low (198-202W 23%) and a very low
run time 22 minutes. When I load all of my equipment, I expect to have a load of abount 550W. If the battery is not related to the missing indicator bars,
perhaps their in a bad battery charging circuit or a LCD problem.

While there is no part number for a replacement battery on these units since they're still new to the market, you can certainly call support, point them to this thread, and they should be able to provide you a replacement.
