The subject line states the issue adequately. What does the "N" stand for?

Hi Neal,
The N stands for Network which the VNT3 offers 10/100 Ethernet data line protection (RJ-45) where as the T, which they both have, is telephone data line projection (RJ-11).
If you go to http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=P11VT3 or http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=P11VNT3 respectively and look at the Data Line Protection row, you'll see the different notes/options.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
