Use other battery for instead of apc for external use?

i have BR 1000 IN Back Ups Rs 1000, can i use 70 AH 12 vol any other company battery for this ups. if i use, will it be charge?

this wouldnt be recommended but you can do it at your own risk. APC will not support any battery modification and the UPS battery charger is designed to charge the particular battery and its specs on the included battery. a larger battery will take a lot longer to charge.
