I first got it I left it plugged in overnight with it turned on. Next day battery indicator showed it to be discharged.
I turned it off, after few minutes it said it had some charge. So I left it off for another day. Then I turned it on,
tested it with 300W load and it said it had 1 min left. Then it promptly turned off. I then turned it off and came
back a day later and it reads full battery with 0 estimate time with a 15% load. I pull the input AC off, ran it for 15 min
with loads from 100-500W and all the time said the battery was low but it was running ok. When I plugged in the unit,
still says low battery.
Sounds like the battery has gone south from being discharge for so long while it's been sitting in stock. Unless someone
has a suggestion, this is going back to Staples. Thanks

that may be the case. if the unit is under warranty, you can contact APC support for just the battery, rather than returning it to the store.
