a couple years ago I replaced a battery pack in one of my UPSes that wasn't on a system. I know I was able to update the battery replace date using a terminal program and connecting serially to the UPS.
I know "Y", then "x" displays the battery replace date but I can't find the procedure to write a new date of battery replacement to the field.
What is the procedure?
Thanks!

From what I've read, the system works in Linux. There is software that programs thru the USB or serial port.

Hi Stephen,
Although this is not the one that you are looking for, but the APC PowerChute Business Edition can be used to update the battery replacement date. I have never tried changing this using some sort of a code using HyperTerminal or PutTy. Hope this helps.
