What is the problem please?
It worked great until tonight.

Solved

Thanks for the  pointers

Problem was

es 400, good battery, but was not putting power out through the 4 battery+surge protected sockets, but did through the other 4 surge protected.

add this to previous addvice

6.  then push power button once, unit beeps and there is a green light glowing beside power button. battery side now works.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Whats the model number and the serial number of the unit and this mat sound stupid but check the circuit breaker on the ups, or do brain dead procedure

1. Disconnect the ups from the ac (wall)
2. Remove the battery cover and unhook the battery
3. hold the power button in for 15-20 seconds
4. reconnect the battery close the door
5. plug in the unit to the ac
6. see if it powers on.

Also have you had any recent storms or power outages?
Do you have a meter to check the battery voltage and the wall voltage, is so please post those
Finally if you have the power-chute software installed see if the software says anything
