Hello all!
I have Windows 7 and I'm using a Back-UPS BE700G, with PowerChute Personal Edition 3.
I have the following problem. If I do not connect the UPS to my PC using the data port, I can put the PC to sleep without problems.
However, if I connect the UPS to my PC using the data port, then whenever I try to put the PC to sleep, Windows does the whole procedure, the system goes to stand-by mode, but then it wakes up again immediately after.
I tried to search information about this problem, but I couldn't find anything. Another PC with Windows Vista, PowerChute Personal Edition 3 and the exact same UPS does not have this problem.
I also checked the APC UPS properties regarding power savings in the Device Manager, but the checkbox to allow the device to wake up the computer is already disabled...
Any suggestion will be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Mauro.

I solved by unchecking "allow the device to wake up the computer" on all of the devices connected on the USB hub to which the UPS is connected, including keyboard and mouse. That's ok for me, but I think such a behaviour is not that normal...
