Hi,
We are trying to get several of our SMC1500s into DCE via network, however neither DCE itself or the IP configuration wizard is able to discover them. They're both pingable but I'm also unable to reach the NIC card's web UI. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

My guess is your SMC1500 UPSs have a green cloud network port at the back, but no other network port. That SmartConnect port is intended for cloud monitoring. If you register your UPSs on smartconnect.apc.com this will give you remote monitoring and management through SmartConnect web portal.
Another option is through EcoStruxure IT. See https://community.se.com/t5/IT-Expert-via-ethernet-port/Monitoring-APC-Smart-UPS-in-EcoStruxure-IT/t....
SNMP is not supported on these SMC units. They also don't have a smart slot at the back where you can plug in a Network Management Card. You could install PowerChute Serial Shutdown software which supports SNMP.

Thank you, you are correct. I'll have to look into purchasing a couple licenses. Much appreciated.
