Just purchased a Back-ups xs 1300 and wish to connect it to my wireless network (so I don't have to run a cable down to it).
Is the RJ45 jack on the rear panel of the UPS an ethernet port or just a serial/usb port? From the limited docs that come with it, it appears to be only USB...
I am considering attaching a Linksys WET54G to the UPS so I can 'see' it thru my network... I suspect I'll need to purchase some sort of other Ethernet to USB device so I can configure everything....
Have others tried to do what I wish to do?
Thanks in advance for the replies.
