I've purchased a Backups 750ES which came with Powerchute Personal for XP and it won't run on Vista.
I found the location on the website to download the Vista version but it won't let me without a login.
I registered the product and got a confirmation email but there was no login info included and if I request the login info on the login page is says my account does not exist.
How can I get the Vista version of Powerchute?

The Power Chute Personal Edition version 2.2 is the latest software for Vista OS. Click on the below link to download the PCPE version 2.2 for Vista.
http://www.apc.com/tools/download/software_comp.cfm?sw_sku=SFPCPE22&id=129&swfam=129
You do need to register if you do not have login credentials to download the software from the above link.
Try installing the PCPE version 2.2 and see if it installs fine. Make sure that the USB cable between the UPS and the Computer is attached properly while installing the software.
I hope it helps.
